Forest Kitchen, Supplemented Edition
We present to you the updated edition of the book Forest Kitchen. Author Petra Kavsek she has added quite a few new interesting and delicious recipes. She foraged for wild fruits, tested recipes, photographed them, and prepared a book. She presents us with over 120 recipes, all of which are something special. In the book, we find new ideas for dishes made from ingredients gathered in the forest: mushrooms, chestnuts, wild garlic, asparagus, elderberries, forest berries, hazelnuts, nettles, wild garlic, and spruce tips. First, we are invigorated by a walk through the forest, followed by food that is natural and often cannot be bought. Here are a few sample recipes: mushroom soup with chestnuts, chanterelles in sauce, turkey steaks with wild garlic crust, chestnut sauce for pasta, homemade Nutella with hazelnuts, forest energy bar, spruce tip jam, elderflower panna cotta with lemon, raw cake with forest fruits,...
