Some of his most well-known works include the novels \"Izven,\" \"I Killed Anita,\" \"The Death of Father Vincenc,\" and the plays \"Križišče,\" \"Obisk stare mame,\" \"Panika,\" \"Španska kraljica,\" and \"Šumi.\" Božič is a recipient of the Župančič Award, the Prešeren Fund Award, and the state decoration Silver Honorary Sign of Freedom of the Republic of Slovenia. The editor of the book, Tina Vrščaj, adds that \"the book of the author's memories of his bohemian youth 'When the authorities are not at all,' which was accidentally discovered by Jurij Hudolin, comes to the public at just the right time to honor the anniversary. With this book, the reader is transported to the 1950s and feels as if they are sitting in a Ljubljana café with the most important creators of that time.
