Goran Vojnović (1980, Ljubljana) is a writer and director. For his debut novel Čefurji raus!, which has been translated into eight languages, he received the Prešeren Fund Award and the Kresnik Award for the best novel of the year. He also received the Kresnik Award for his subsequent novels, Yugoslavia, My Country and Figa. The novels Čefurji raus! and Yugoslavia, My Country have been performed in the theater.
