Carnic Alps Wanderings - Andrej and Urška Stritar

The Stritar family is one of Slovenia’s best-known mountaineering families, and Andrej and Urška are established guidebook writers and authors of bestsellers published by us, such as 111 Hikes in the Slovenian Mountains and To the Mountains with Children.

Karnijske potepanja (Carnic Wanderings) is a somewhat different and more personal guidebook, as the Stritars, with their years of exploring the Carnic Alps and the first edition of the guidebook, did pioneering work. They introduced the Slovenian mountaineering community to this unique mountain range, which until then was lesser-known and less-visited by our mountaineers.

The second, thoroughly updated edition presents 58 worthwhile destinations, ranging in difficulty from easier afternoon hikes to demanding off-trail routes and easier climbing tours.
