FOREWORD BY THE AUTHOR:"I've always wanted to share the knowledge I've gained over the years. My desire was to publish a book. And my friend Erna brought me to this goal, who pushed me and pushed me for 3 years and finally pushed me to the point where I finally opened my computer and said to myself: now it's really time. Of course, the first thought was, what to start with?

I listened to myself with a smile and said to myself, since you simply love desserts. So the answer was, the first book will be about cakes. And so it slowly started to emerge page after page, making cakes one after another... and more and more I came to the point of even enjoying it. Interesting combinations and flavors began to emerge.
My life is culinary. Everything revolves around it. The endless love for food is something incredible, it is something that satisfies all the senses. The love for food brings people together. There are many culinary names that have guided me throughout my career. Many directions that can also confuse you a little. That is why every artist has their own direction by which they are recognizable.

I am grateful to some people for making me fall in love with confectionery, but my thanks for all the support, knowledge, encouragement and help, which has grown into a wonderful friendship that means a lot to me, goes to my flatmate Alenka Kodele. There are people in life who are with us for a purpose. I would like to thank my family, Marjan and Denis, for all their absence and their tolerance and love, Erna for her support and drive. To my sister Mirela for her help with the visual material and thank you to my parents for their understanding."
