Thirty years ago, the first book in the legendary series Enci benci na kamenci, conceived by Roman Gašperin, was published at the FS Finžgarja primary school in Lesce. The 50 children's songs and rhymes came to life perfectly alongside Čoh's witty illustrations.
They were passed down from mouth to mouth, changed, and accompanied Slovenian children through several generations in various games. They are used to count before catching and hiding, or to just slip them away.So far, four books have been published with a total circulation of over 60,000 copies.
