A team of four foreign journalists – Yuri Barron from the United States, John Bills from Wales, Will Dunn from Great Britain and James Cosier from Australia, all of whom have lived in Slovenia for many years – spent eight years visiting, photographing and selecting 100 of their favourite places in Slovenia. The book The Slovenia Book – Top 100 Destinations was published in English in 2015 and has been reprinted three times, selling over 15,000 copies.
The book, which is almost 300 pages long, contains an overview of many of Slovenia's attractions and describes the shortest routes to them. The attractions are divided according to the division of Slovenia into macroregions. They are also accompanied by maps. In addition, it presents 1,000 reasons why locals spend their holidays in their native Slovenia.

The book was written by a team of experienced foreign travel journalists who fell in love with Slovenia at first sight. The content features interviews with famous Slovenians, such asare Eva Štravs Podlogar, Darko Brlek, Dr. Janez Bogataj, Ajša Vodnik, Dušan Zorko, Otmar Zorn, Danica Purg, Dejan Roljič and many others, Top 10 selections, descriptions of more than 1000 individual attractions in Slovenia, to useful updated information and hundreds of photos.
