Puhi soon falls ill and is taken to the vet. The vet tells the family that Puhi has a dangerous and contagious rabbit disease. Despite the fact that there is little chance of Puhi recovering, Anica convinces her mother again and they decide to treat him.
Anica and the Rabbit is a realistic youth story about the loss of a pet and accepting the loss. In the work, the author presents the main stages of grief, such as not accepting the loss, grieving the loss, and resignation, through the death of a pet.
