Brandy - plum "Old plum brandy prepečenica"
One of the greatest ambitions of the Pigmalion distillery is to create a top-quality fruit distillate from plums. The awareness that quality begins in the orchard drives them to plant new plum orchards every year on their organic plantation in Tamnjanica. Their dedication and respect for tradition are reflected in every step of production.
This exceptional plum brandy is the result of a refined combination of three distillates: a four-year-old distillate from the Čačanska lepotica variety, a five-year-old Čačanska rodna distillate, and an extraordinary nineteen-year-old distillate from Požegača. All distillates are obtained from fully ripe fruits, fermented under controlled conditions, and double distilled in handcrafted copper stills. Aging takes place in oak barrels, following a traditional process listed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
Color: Charming shade of old gold
Aroma: Rich and balanced – dominated by plum notes, supported by vanilla and oak tones
Taste: Elegant and full, with a harmonious palette of flavors highlighting plum jam, vanilla, marzipan, tobacco, and lightly roasted coffee. It finishes with a long and pleasant aftertaste.
