Berryshka is a family business of the Kenda family from Šentvid near Stična, which combines passion, boldness, and love in its unique product range. Their story began in the 1990s when Jože and his son Samo Kenda took over an abandoned distillery on the outskirts of the Kočevje primeval forest in the village of Obrh near Dolenjske Toplice. Initially, they focused on the production of essential oils, with juniper essential oil as the main product, but over time they wanted to create something more.
From the desire for innovation, Berryshka was born, starting with the distillation of the first alcoholic beverages, including gin, BrinGin, and the first Slovenian gin, Berryshka London Dry Gin. Today, Berryshka offers a wide range of alcoholic beverages, including six fruit liqueurs and the unique Aged Brinjevec. Their products have received numerous international awards for quality.
Jožet's daughter Zdenka later joined the company, enriching Berryshka with chocolate products, including pralines and chocolate cups. The renovated distillery today also includes a chocolate shop, a café with a terrace, and a small store where all Berryshka products are available, including essential oils and homemade products.
