The most charming and curious little bear explored Slovenia years ago, this time he is venturing into the world.

Bear Lovro is the bear from the Kočevje forests who one day set off on a long journey around the world. He took with him a bag with a compass and a lot of good cheer. His journey began quite by chance in the far south of South America, where he was carried by ocean currents and the wild winds of the Atlantic Ocean.On the shores of Tierra del Fuego, his numerous unforgettable adventures began, which he diligently recorded in his travel diary. This has now been published in the charming book Diary of the Adventurer Bear Lovro, America, written by the Slovenian youth writer Žiga X Gombač. The book features seven educational and entertaining chapters in which the bear meets a jaguar, learns about tango, ancient Inca pyramids, where the first cocoa was prepared, how popcorn is made, the monarch butterfly, a grizzly, the Inuit, and many other interesting facts about South, Central, and North America. The book was illustrated by Marjan Manček and published by the Kartografija publishing house.
