Posočje: a guide to the valley of the emerald river and its surroundings (English language) - Iztok Bončina

The tourist guide to the Soča Valley, one of the most attractive areas in Slovenia, offers four starting points and eight circular routes through the Soča Valley, from the source of the Soča River all the way to Goriška, where the emerald river continues its journey towards the sea.

The book contains concise descriptions of the key natural and cultural-historical sights of the area, as well as recreational and adrenaline opportunities. Numerous legends and stories are included, along with suggestions for hiking and cycling trips and brief outlines of local customs and culinary specialties. Each of the eight routes is equipped with a map showing the route, and the descriptions are accompanied by picturesque colour photographs.

The guide has been published in four languages (Slovenian, English, German, and Italian).
