The book tells the story of four years of van travels across Europe: 90,000 kilometers, 350 nights, 38 countries. However, this is not a tourist guide or an RV manual, but a travelogue about a married couple, adventurers, who exchanged decades of world travel by motorcycle and tent for the relative comfort of a small camper van. Yet, they still prefer to sleep in remote places and seek out side roads and a Europe free from crowds and sold-out tourist destinations. The book, with 480 photographs, is an enjoyable read, but also a rich source of ideas and information for your next trip or a different kind of holiday.

Romana and I were motorcyclists, and for decades of world travels, Europe didn't interest us; it's pointless, it's like home, we said. Maybe when we're old...
I don't know if those "old" years have arrived yet, but COVID came in between. Borders closed and the world closed down, certainly for long motorcycle trips. That's when we thought: hey, what about Europe? And what if this time we tried something different, with a van that would be our traveling home?
We didn't expect much; just to keep ourselves busy! But in four years and 90,000 kilometers on the road, we increasingly realized that we live (we live!) in the most beautiful part of the world. Not just one of the richest and most organized – the most beautiful! We sought out side roads and Europe increasingly became a friendly old lady who invited us into the embrace of her beauties. She pampered us with views and the experience of complete freedom. She also pampered us with the people we met who shared their lives and stories with us.
We hope we managed to capture at least a part of that in the book BREZ VOZNEGA REDA (NO SCHEDULE). This time, Zvone contributed the photographs, while Romana, with decades of journalistic and editorial experience, ensured that the book can also be read as a bouquet of travel ideas and reliable information. BREZ VOZNEGA REDA is a travelogue about interesting places, events, and people. At the same time, it is also a personal story about two travelers who have been discovering the world together for over four decades and sharing it with you.
We can still feel fresh enthusiasm and we can still affirm to ourselves: we know how to travel! We know how to live together and to the fullest, in just a few square meters of a traveling shack. And we know how to sigh at the end with a feeling of satisfied tiredness: phew, it was beautiful. What beautiful – it was wonderful and excellent!
We will be happy if we managed to convey a part of this into the 26 chapters on the pages of this book. And so, we invite you – SHALL WE GO ON A JOURNEY TOGETHER?
