Piranska salt with protected designation of origin 1 kg

Piranska salt, a noble product of the Sečovlje Saltworks Landscape Park, is the result of the restless wind, warm sun, and diligent salt workers.

"We harvest it by hand, using traditional methods that are over 700 years old. The basic process is natural crystallization in salt fields, protected by petola – a precious biosedimentary substrate made up of minerals and microorganisms. The salt with a protected designation of origin is light and has an extraordinary taste, complemented by the spring water captured in the crystals."

The product is packaged in a cloth bag and is equipped with a label in Slovenian, Italian, English, German, French, and Russian.
