Children are naturally curious, so why not teach them some basic cooking skills that will not only make them have fun but also help them learn new skills? Not only will this be a great way to travel for life, they will especially love the fact that they can eat their work at the end. These activities will spontaneously develop four important life skills. Children will strengthen their motor skills and communication skills, especially if they work with others to prepare food.
The kitchen, where awkward situations are practically at home, is an ideal training ground for children to strengthen their problem-solving skills and learn to improvise. As they have to prepare a shopping list before cooking, find the missing ingredients, and then prepare the dish according to the instructions, their organizational skills are also developed.

THEY SAID ABOUT THE BOOK:
"There are too few books in the world that would give children the desire and knowledge to cook something. That's why I only welcome the arrival of this book. For us Primorska, the culture of the table is of great importance. May it remain a guideline so that we can cook together and be happy, the most important guideline for the family." - Ana Roš Stojan, chef
"A cookbook for parents who will gain more respect from their children if they include them in food preparation. With this experience, a joint leap into homemade recipes!" - Marko Juhant, special educator
"Children who are eager for knowledge and creativity have received a book that invites them to develop their skills in planning and preparing interesting dishes. When octroi prepare food themselves, they are usually happy to taste it and accept new and unfamiliar dishes more easily, which is encouraging for the formation of healthy eating habits, which are also important for nutrition in later life. Preparing the dishes presented in the book encourages children to include a variety of vegetables and fruits in their daily menu, and there is also a dish that can be prepared from edible food leftovers, which is important for the formation of a sustainable diet. I am convinced that suitable recipes, described methods of preparing dishes, attractive photographs and the inclusion of animal stories will encourage children to develop their creativity in cooking with joy." - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stojan Kostanjevec, Department of Biology, Chemistry and Home Economics, Faculty of Education
