BUKLA REVIEW:
The modern world celebrates materialism, speed, power, struggle and many other similar external "values", which in reality increasingly alienate the individual - from others, and above all from himself. The individual is then lonely, confused and lost, searching for happiness and love in various ways, but often fails to find them. Simply because, the author of this valuable book explains between the lines, he has lost the compass of his being and life. When this is correctly aligned, in accordance with our true depths, it leads us to the only important life force - the force of love, to the god Eros.
And it was into his mouth that Mulej Mlakarjeva put all the precious messages in her new book. Eros, as the reader quickly learns from the records of various love stories, full of longing and searching, embodies not only erotic, sexual energy, but everything more that is reflected in the liveliness, colors, joy and the purest voices and smells of love that each of us has within us. This unique god is also not only loving and comforting, but also warrior and sometimes deceitful. Only if we are able to wake up and admit that we ourselves are often unbearable deceivers and (self)saboteurs, does something move within us - because of the touch of Eros, which brings us everything we need to grow, proudly step over our shadows and move forward lovingly. A reading that breaks many stereotypes and impresses with its depth, as well as its softness and poeticism, captured in the author's verses. These are delicately woven between individual chapters, like the gentle power of love, and give the reading even greater value.
