ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Desa Muck(1955), Slovenian actress, television presenter, publicist and youth writer. She was born into the family of Slovenian actor, poet and professor Kristijan Muck. At first, she was employed as a nanny in the Poljane kindergarten. This was followed by acting work in the series Ante and in the shows Zoom and Mario.
This was followed by commercials, films, and a video story. Then she also started writing. She primarily wrote love stories, then youth literature. In her writing, she embraces simple and general human experiences. As a creator, she is best known for her stories, side stories, novellas, and radio plays for youth and children, but she also writes for adults.
She is the author of over 60 monographic publications. Her books are characterized by wit and lucidity. She also worked as a comedian in the show Zoom in Mario on RTV Slovenia from 1996 to 2002. Desa Muck has written many stories aimed at young people. Her most common themes are aimed at adolescents and mostly revolve around sexuality, drugs, school, etc. She approaches the topics in a witty and humorous way.
