So I had everything; the desire to learn and develop non-traditional desserts, the desire for aesthetics and attractive photographs, I had access to all the ingredients, homemade and purchased, and I was also lucky with my own surname, so I played with it a little bit verbally and came up with the title of the book. RECIPE IDEAS WERE BORN DURING A MORNING RUNNatalija Jeraj: "Something simply had to happen with my daily early wake-up time: 5:45. An hour when everything is usually quiet in the house and in the village, and that's when it's time for secrets. So I started with my morning run, which awakened all my motor and thought processes. Ideas about this and that came to me, sometimes too much, sometimes nothing. After the run, I ran around the garden and pantry, like a hunt for ingredients. And again, sometimes there was enough of everything, sometimes not enough of everything, but it was precisely the situation of scarcity that sparked my interest in how to make something in an even simpler way. So I combined the pleasant with the useful; running for the health of the body and mind, finding inspiration to develop creativity, and ultimately realizing an idea for a happy heart."

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Natalija Jeraj comes from a small town in the beautiful Savinja Valley. She is 22 years old and attends the Faculty of Education in Ljubljana, Department of Art Pedagogy. Her passion has always been the field of art and creativity. As a little girl, she drew a lot, developed this further in elementary school and learned even more about it in high school, at the Art Gymnasium in Velenje. She discovered her true style during her studies, when everything began to connect with her way of eating and her view of the world. She created a lot on the topic of protecting the environment and all living things, and presented the topic to people in 2017 with her first solo exhibition. Her ambitions are based on a lifelong exploration of new things, bringing them closer to those who want them, and by expanding her horizons, expanding the horizons of everyone else.
