Storyteller Anja Štefan has 'collected' and selected 53 Slovenian folk tales from various Slovenian regions for the book Za devetimi gorami. Although they have been passed down from generation to generation for a long time, some of them for as long as 150 years, more than a third are now being published for the first time. They captivate readers (and listeners) with their richness, inventiveness and noble humor.

The book Behind the Nine Mountains carries the Pearl label – a recommendation for excellent and award-winning Slovenian authors for children and youth.
