February 8 is the Slovenian Cultural Holiday, dedicated to the greatest Slovenian poet France Prešeren. On this day, we celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Slovenia.
How to celebrate it?
- Visit cultural institutions: Many theaters, museums, and galleries across Slovenia open their doors for free on this day. Visit the Prešeren House in Kranj or the Slovene Ethnographic Museum in Ljubljana.
