"Write your book," Jesper Juul told me. And so, here is my story. The story of a girl, a woman, and a mother who desperately wanted to find a love that didn't hurt. But I realized that love doesn't hurt. Unfulfilled expectations hurt. Wounds hurt. The ego hurts. The journey to love is a journey into consciousness, and the pain on this journey is our teacher. I wrote my life story and insights because I want the relationship between parents and adult children to be spoken about louder and more honestly. It is intended for both my (older) generation and adult children. I hope that you will find support in it for a journey on which you will look under the family rug with empathy for yourself and your parents and consciously transform painful family patterns. Only in this way will the pain from the family chests not be passed on.
"In addition to personal life experience, the book offers insights and tools for healthier and happier relationships in the family and society. Valuable!" - Saša Pavček"A stimulating and inspiring work for all who stumble on the bumpy path of life." - Manca KoširSoftcover, 15.0 x 21.0 cm, 179 pages.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Four decades ago, Danica Vidmar embarked on the path of demanding partnership and parenthood in a web of (p)personal circumstances. A decade later, she divorced, left everything behind, and embarked on the path of single parenthood and survival with her two children. When she met Jesper Juul in the mid-fifties, she slowly realized how ill-equipped she had been all these years for a full life, for healthy relationships, for motherhood. Her journey to her then-adult daughters began. It wasn't easy, and even after a decade of walking, she hadn't (yet) found all the paths. Searching doesn't mean you always find the path. And even if you don't find it or it surprises you with its twists and turns, it's worth going on the search. That's her experience. While walking, she found the path to her feelings, she can hear her inner voice, she sees her inner strength, she found peace, and above all, she continues to learn to be grateful, she learns joy and happiness, she learns to be.
